Vince Zampella, Has Passed Away in a California Vehicle Accident

Vince Zampella, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful franchise Call of Duty, has tragically died in a car accident in California aged 55.

Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.

The celebrated industry figure lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a motorway in LA on Sunday, as reported by.

"This represents a devastating loss, and we stand with Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and everyone impacted by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
