Without a doubt the biggest piece of news, the widely-criticized controversial season that was season 3 of One-Punch Man failed to halt further production. The show will come back with a subsequent part in 2027—so far away they easily could have called it season 4. Adding to the surprise, the studio J.C. Staff will still be at the helm. The manga by Masaoki Shindo achieved widespread acclaim when it launched in 2022 after just a small number of issues, but then went into a lengthy break due to the author's health issues. When it returned with a more relaxed pace, the series showed it hadn't lost the fans' support and positive sentiment, and now everyone is ecstatic about the upcoming KyoAni adaptation.
